Maria Grisales was born and raised in Columbia. She attended The Barton School in Pennsylvania for both her Medical Assistant Certification and Dental Assistance Certification, which she completed in 1992. She then attended Eugenia Maria De Hostos Community College to become a Dental Hygienist. In 1998, Maria graduated with honors with an Associate in Applied Science with a concentration in Dental Hygiene. Maria is recognized by the Board of Dentistry to practice Dental Hygiene in the States of New York, New Jersey and Florida. She continued her education at The Dental Studies Institute to gain certification to administer Nitrous Oxide Clinical in 2005. In 2011, Maria also completed training at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center for administration of Local Anesthesia.
Maria has an amazing time working as a Dental Hygienist at American Dental Center, where she has been for 12 years. She is bi-lingual in English and Spanish and has a strong passion for dental aid and excellent patient care.
